Retirement of Mr C J Stokes (08/05/2008)
Mr. Stokes retired at the end of March after giving over 50 years of loyal service.
Over the years C. J. has seen many changes, he can remember when smoking was allowed in the mill! Employees that have come and gone, and come back again!
Not only has the employee payroll expanded, so has the product range, customer base, vehicle fleet along with the buildings on the Little London Road site.
Many of these memories have been captured with photographs (some of you were quite good looking – what went wrong!)
Although he shall be missed, we would like to wish him a long, enjoyable and happy retirement.
