Decorative Eggshell

Decorative Eggshell (DS)

A white spirit based low gloss for use on most substrates.  Available in a large colour range ex-stock with pastel shades being tinted as required.

Decorative Emulsion - Exterior Matt

Matt Vinyl Emulsion (DE)

For interior and exterior use as a masonry paint.  Stocked in a large range of colours and available to all shades from our tinting system.

Decorative Emulsion - Exterior Textured

Textured Exterior Emulsion (TE)

Recommended for the decoration and protection of interior and exterior wall and ceiling surfaces.  It is suitable for kitchens and bathrooms, Plaster, Stone, Concrete, Rendering etc.

Decorative Emulsion - Silk Finish

Silk Vinyl Emulsion (ES)

A very high quality, hard wearing paint to interior and exterior use.  Available in a range of colours with pastel shades being tinted as required.

Trade Matt Vinyl Emulsion (DT)

A good quality interior paint available in a small range of colours wth pastel shades being tinted as required.

Decorative Gloss

Decorative Gloss (DG)

A white spirit based gloss for use on most substrates including wood and metal.  Very durable.  Stocked in large range of colours and available to all shades from our tinting system.

Decorative Undercoat

Decorative Undercoat (DU)

A white spirit base paint to be used in conjunction with Stokes Eggshell or Gloss.  It has excellent obliteration due to its high level of pigmentation producing a matt finish.  Available in a range of colours with pastel shades being tinted as required.

Decorative Wood Primer - Acrylic Water Based

A very durable water based acrylic primer providing excellent opacity for use on most types of wood.

• Very Quick drying allowing a gloss system to be applied in one day.

Industrial Wood Primer - Water Based

Brush/Spray/Vacuum/Roller

Very quick drying producing a single coat matt surface which gives excellent obliteration.  It may be overcoated with either water based or conventional solvent based Decorative Paints.

• E.P.A. 1990 Compliabt coating, minimal VOC.
• Dry within 30 minutes without forcing.
• Possible to force dry.

Polyurethane Varnishes

Designed for interior use on metal, hardboard, plywood and wood to produce a hard clear protective surface giving wear resisitance.

DV005 Gloss & DV012 Matt

• Re-coatable in 6-8 hours.

Superfine Varish

A rapid drying varnish for exterior use on metal, hardboard, plywood and wood producing a tough, clear protective coating.

• A tough protective coating.
• Excellent weatherability.

Traditional Wood Finishes - Knotting

To seal knots in resinous timber:

• Knotting (PL008).

Traditional Wood Finishes - Polishes

Stokes produce a range of traditional wood finishes.  Producing deep lustrous finishes.  French Polish is the darkest followed by White and Clear.

Traditional Wood Finishes - Teak Oil

To prevent wood drying out apply our natural oil wood finish:
