Etch Primer - Twin Pack

Spray/Brush

Designed to improve adhesion of coatings to aluminium, zinc, galvanised iron, light alloys and powder coatings.  Also works well as a primer before powder coating.

Etch Primers - Chromate Free R.F.U.

Spray/Brush

Provides a light etched phosphate coating on metal and can be used as a primer for subsequent coating or as a temporary finish for transport.

• Touch dry in 10-15 minutes

Fluorescent Markimg Paint

Water and chemical resistant.  A security version is available that has a dye incorporated into the paint which will bleed when the dried film is attacked with strong solvents, i.e. Stokes Thinner TH013.

Hammer Finishes - Air Dry

A quick drying top coat for metal which dries to give an attractive hammered appearance.

Low Bake Stoving Enamel

Stokes Low Bake Stoving Enamel Paint provides a hard, tough, durable finish for metal.  Short stoving schedules allow for rapid rates of production.

Low Odour Brush Matt Air Dry

Brush/Spray

High quality range of quick drying, anti-corrosive, one coat industrial matt finishes for steel. Suitable for brush application and by most types of spray equipment. (See application section for further details). Wet film thicknesses of up to 400 microns may be applied without sagging occuring. Finishes from this range do not contain Xylene, resulting in a low odour coating.

Machiney Enamels

Matt Modified Vinyls for Galvanised Steel

Metal Primer White 631

Spray/Brush

This paint was fully approved by British Coal as meeting the requirement of their specification 631:1989, High Build Anti-corrosive White Paint for Underground Machinery.  It is quick drying and suitable for use on clean steel surfaces.

Micaceous Iron Oxide (M.I.O.)

Super durable weather resistant coating which can be used as a primer or finish but is normally used as an intermediate in maintenance free systems for structural steel,

Mordant Solutions (T-Wash)

Brush/Roller/Spray/Mop

A clear solution to degrease and etch metal, particularly aluminium and galvanised steel, to allow adhesion by a primer.

• Can be overcoated with Etch Primer in 1 hour.

QD Rust Inhibiting Primer

Spray/Brush

High quality anti-corrosive primer.  Dries within 30 minutes to give a semi-gloss appearance, can be recoated with most types of finishes.

Suitable for use on commercial vehicles, industrial machinery and a wide variety of engineered articles, castings etc. where good anti-corrosive characteristics are required.

Quick Dry Semi Gloss One Coat Finish

High quality, general purpose range of one coat industrial anti-corrosive semi-gloss finishes for steel.  Suitable for application by most types of spray equipment including electrostatic.  For use on industrial machinery, metal fabrications, castings, and a wide range of engineering articles, etc.

Terebine Drier

Increases the rate of drying of many paints and varnishes which dry by oxidation. 
Revives the drying of old paints and varnishes and improves rates of drying when temperatures are low, as in cold winter months.
Note:- Excessive quantities added could increase the tendency of paints to form thick skins on storage particularly in partly used tins of paint.

White Marking Concentrate

This paint is specially formulated to meet requirements for the base paint for magnetic flaw detection - BS 5044 : 1973 (1987).  This product is not recommended for use as a general purpose matt white paint because the very high level of pigmentation would not product a durable coating.  Note : R. J. Stokes & Co. Ltd do not produce a magnetic ink and as such users should establish the suitability of their own ink with this product.

• Very fast drying matt white paint, soluble in Aromatic and Chlorinated solvents but resistant to paraffin and other similar products.
