R J Stokes produce ranges of Maintenance products that include three types of floor paint that are ideal to apply during closedown periods.

Acrylic Sealer

Brush/Roller/Spray

Sealer for use on concrete, plaster or other porous masonry surfaces.

Clear quick drying lacquer exhibiting good non-yellowing characteristics.

Alkali Resisting Primer Sealer

Brush/Roller/Spray

Stabilises (that is seals and binds) friable, dusting concrete and cement rendering providing a sound substrate for Emulsion painting.  Also provides good alkali resistance.

• Adheres to most porous substrates.
• Re-coatable within 24 hours.
• Dries within 4-6 hours.

Anti-Vandal Paints

Brush

A non-drying coating designed to hinder any illegal or irregular means of entry via drainpipes, windowsills, fences, gates or walls.

• Easy to apply.
• Hard to remove.

Bitumen Paints

Recommended for the decoration and protection of exterior surfaces where excellent water and weathering resistance are required.  This range of paints can also be used for the protection of machinery and plant etc.

• Attractive appearance with high gloss, good build and opacity.
• Affords excellent protection inside and outside having outstanding flexibility, adhesion and resistance to weather.
• Easy to apply and free from brush marks etc.
• Excellent durability and colour retention.

Bitumen Sealer

Brush/Roller/Spray

Seals surfaces previously coated with Bitumen based products so that conventional decorative paints can be applied over it.

Bituminous Aluminium Paint

Water proofing and preserving bituminous coated roofing felt, iron, steel, concrete, asbestos and wood.

• Good solar reflective characteristics. 
   

Black Bitumen

For protecting iron and steel, concrete (including screeds), roofing felt, asbestos and wood on bridges, barns, boats, hangars, gutters and pipework.

• Glossy Black
• Waterproof
• Resistant to dilute acids and alkalis.

Chlorinated Rubber

Brush/Dip

Very tough, formulated to withstand aggressive interior and exterior conditions including harsh chemicals, oil, salt water, mould and fungus.  Suitable for use on iron & steel, non-ferrous metals, concrete, plaster, brickwork and wood.

• Non-flammable when dry.
• Suitable for use in swimming pools and ponds.
• Surface dry within 1 hour, re-coatable after 24 hours.
• Anti-slip version for floors available.

Clear Stabilising Primer

Brush/Roller Spray

Stabilises Interior and Exterior cement rendering, old firmly adhering but powdery paint coatings, asbestos sheeting, powdering brick, stone masonry, plaster and Insulating boards providing a sound substrate for emulsion painting or tiling.  The prevention of dusting on sound concrete floors is an additional use of this clear primer. 
 
 

Polyurethane Floor Paint

Brush/Roller

A glossy floor paint for both concrete and wooden floors.  Designed for use in warehouses, factories and garages.

• Surface dry within 4-6 hours.
• Overcoatable after 24 hours.
• Anti-slip version available.

Designed for interior and exterior use for line marking on general floor surfaces.  Seals tar/bitumen stains preventing them from bleeding through.

RL001 White   RL002 Yellow

• Withstands wear after 1 hour.
• Re-coatable in 30 minutes.
• Good intermediate floor coat on "stained" surfaces.

Waterbased Twin Pack Epoxy

Brush/Roller

Designed for use on concrete floors, but with its excellent adhesion it can be applied onto most types of metal.  Very tough and durable with good chemical resistance.

• An EPA 1990 Compliant finish with minimal VOC.
• User friendly with a 1 hour pot life once mixed.
• Excellent for filling and levelling floors.
• Dry within 24 hours.
• Brushes and rollers are easily washed out in water.
• Can be applied onto green concrete.
• Anti slip additive available.
